Common Hawker (female) at Kensleyridge Inclosure

It's all Dragonflies, but that's alright. I went out to find a Fallow Deer, and would you believe it, I was looking in the eyes of the beautiful thing. She stayed for a few seconds and then she was gone, no photograph I'm affraid.

Female Black Darter?????????? at the Marshes

I am not sure if this is a Black Darter. It's quite easy to get it all together, especially the females! Thanks to Andy Carey, http://andrewcareyphotography.co.uk/index.htm who has helped me, though he's away in Scotland, searching out the Orchids, Eagles, Butterflies and Squirrels to name just a few. Fallow Deer droppings at Foxes Bridge Colliery

I was joined today by Chris, who is a Nature lover, a bit like me. His knowledge of Deer habits is outstanding. He showed me where they might be, in their tracks through the fences and the very small openings. While we were getting into them, a Fallow Deer was in front of us, but we frightened her, pity.

It rained most of the morning, and a blistering heavy wind. What is that, a Jackdaw with some thing in its beak, a lump soil with small stones inside?

Moorhen at Lydney boating lake.

There were 4 of them, fighting, in the middle of the lake. They kept it up for a quarter of hour, then they went off in different ways, like it was a star. They all were all chirping a lot. Nobody was hurt and no one was victorious.

It hasn't been so long since it was an egg. About a week I think. I know how you feel, that cuddling feeling, but soon it takes after it's the Cob, and maybe it will turn more serious and bad temper.

Pike at Mallards Pike

It was not the reason why the Mallard Duck, and plenty of Pike came by the name "Mallards Pike". Taking its name from a tollhouse that used to stand at the site.

I was on the verge of giving up, nothing for 5 hours and I'd not seen anything. Then, I had an idea, to try their pond, and it was to my advantage that it was full of damselflies, dragonflies, moths frog spawn and there were others.

It is all alone, no male or female. Every time that I have been there, it comes on it's own - it must be terribly frustrating.

Grass

Yes a grass, I do not know what it is called, so I'll call it "grass with a red tinge". Yes, that's alright. Nice and cuddliest of grasses.

A Fungi or Fungus

I found this growing in a car free zone, but I don't know what it is called. I can't wait for the season, (well, I can), that I can get some of them to eat. Ummmmmmm, they are mouthwatering.
